chocolate and craft

Some Easter inspired craft and cooking today. Minnie and her Daddy enjoyed some craft time decorating cardboard eggs, bunnies and chicks. Think lots of glue! Minnie is concentrating so beautifully in the photo - threading ribbon through some holes in a card egg. Not long after she was screaming the house down. Gotta love a 2 year old...

Given its Easter a bit of chocolate had to make its way onto the menu. These are some ooey gooey chocolate fudge puddings. They were quite delicious. They are from Donna Hay's 'Modern Classics 2' I found (as I often do with old Donna) that they needed to spend a lot more time in the oven - about 15 minutes more actually but just experiment a little.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

They do look delicious!!!!
I am a bit overloaded with chocolate, though. And not the good chocolate either. It's the waxey chocolate flavoured stuff that's covered in tinfoil (and poop). BUT I am sure that your little confections are SO MUCH BETTER than that...
I am eagerly awaiting news of the Agricultural Fair....
